NO MORE

I just don't understand this thing called war,

What is it for?

I just don't understand this thing called war.

As cliche as it is to say,

What will war do for you today?

Bring the red, white and blue tacked on words,

That have lost their color

In the gun shot and

Sandstorm winds?

Freedom

Democracy

Mission

Justice

War against terror

No more.

Violence does not win against force

Only light over comes dark

The warn pulp of the bulletin,

Reveals the eyes of the innocent soul,

Fear pierces the pupil

No more.

The pit grows,

The numbers pile.

I just don't understand this thing called war,

Tell me why,

Bullets,

Explosion,

Loss of innocents?

The crimson saturates

The earth from her

Wounded flesh.

To whom it may concern,

I just don't understand this thing called war,

Why inflict pain

On a human such as yourself,

What do you gain?

The word enemy has no meaning,

Anger is to learn from,

Not to kill for,

Am I right to say,

No more,

No more,
No more war,

Please no more.
